Dr Yeap Min Li received her postgraduate qualification from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the United Kingdom in the year 1997 and became a fully qualified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in 2001 after being accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Health, Singapore. She is also a Fellow at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Dr Yeap Min Li attended Nanyang Primary, Nanyang Girls' High School and Hwa Chong Junior College in Singapore. She graduated from the Medical Faculty of the National University of Singapore in 1992. After working in various hospitals such as Alexandra Hospital, Singapore General Hospital and Jurong Polyclinic, she started her Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty training in KK Hospital in 1994.

Dr Yeap served at KK women's and Children's Hospital for 15 years from 1994 to 2010. Her last appointment was Consultant at the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was a visiting Consultant to Changi General Hospital from the year 2001 to 2002, and a Consultant Colposcopist in the Gynecological Cancer Centre in KK Women's and Children's Hospital from 2003 to 2010, treating patients with Pap smear abnormalities and pre-invasive conditions.

Dr Yeap was awarded "Excellent Service Award" (EXSA) which is a national award supported by SPRING Singapore that recognizes individuals who delivered outstanding service. She received the GOLD Award in 2007 and STAR Award in 2008. She also received multiple "Service from the heart" awards during her 15 years of service in KK Hospital.

She is a member of the Singapore Medical Association, Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Singapore and the Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore.

Dr Yeap is a mother of three, an avid sportswoman and has completed her first full marathon in Dec 2010. She is a regular blood donor who has received the BRONZE Award from the Singapore Red Cross Society / National Blood Program on 12 June 2010 (World Blood Donor Day) for her dedication to the cause and has donated a total of 30 units of blood to date.
